Configure tab

The configure tab enables all users the option to change the location ID and the asset tag number.

Additionally, users may configure the ProBP 3400 to:

• Enable or disable the device to emulate Spot Vitals Signs LXi.

• Set the time limit before entering standby mode due to inactivity.

• Set the time limit before powering off due to inactivity.

• Enable or disable serial emulation (Bluetooth default setting).

• Set the Bluetooth radio time limit for searching for paired partner and active.

Changing the current device configuration requires a Welch Allyn Gold license and a Biomed log in. You must

update the device serial number when you replace the main board within the device.

To update the device serial number:

Select the device tab, the configure tab, the Serial number tab, and click Change.

Enter the serial number from main circuit board as the Host Controller serial number. The serial number of the

main board is located on the board. The device serial number is located on the bottom of the device and you must

program the main board with this serial number.
